Confirm the pin assignment of the 20–24Pin board connector and each SATA device connector before installation; incorrect mapping of power and ground pins may damage drives or the PCB.
Ensure the total load of all drives does not exceed the rated current of the harness and upstream power rail; select higher AWG for high-power configurations if required.
Avoid sharp bends and excessive twisting near molded housings to protect the internal conductors and maintain long-term electrical performance.
Route the assembly away from hot components and sharp metal edges, and secure it with clamps or cable ties to reduce strain on the terminals.
Variants with shielded pairs, different SATA quantities, or special automotive / industrial grade jackets can be produced for batch and project orders.
